Privacy policy
Studio Zwölf GbR takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This page sets out what we process, why, on what legal basis, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Controller

2. Visiting this website
When you open a page, our hosting provider records a server log entry containing your IP address in shortened form, the date and time, the page requested, the referrer, the status code and your browser and operating system version. This is necessary to deliver the site and to defend it against attack. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a working and secure website. Log entries are deleted after seven days. The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, on servers in Frankfurt am Main. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR and the EU standard contractual clauses are in place.
3. Cookies and the consent banner
This site sets no cookies that are not strictly necessary. The only entry stored on your device is a local record of the choice you make in the cookie banner, so that we do not ask you again; it is stored in your browser and never transmitted to us. Legal basis: § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG. If you allow the visitor count, we use a self-hosted, cookie-free measurement that stores only a shortened IP address and the page requested; consent under § 25 (1) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, withdrawable at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer.
4. Class numbers shown on this site
The number of free places shown on each class is calculated on your own device from the studio's room capacities and its check-in figures. It contains no information about individual people: we never publish who is in a class, and the figures cannot be traced back to a person. No personal data of any visitor is processed in order to display them.
5. Check-in at the door
When you pay for a class we record the class, the date, the amount and whether it was your free first class. If you give us a name for the free first class we keep it until you have attended, and delete it within thirty days afterwards. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for the performance of the contract for the class, and Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR with §§ 147 AO and 257 HGB for the retention of accounting records, which obliges us to keep the payment record for up to ten years. We do not operate cameras in the hall.
6. Contact form, email and WhatsApp
If you use the form on this site we process the name, email address, optional telephone number, the class you selected and your message in order to answer you. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns a class, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in answering enquiries addressed to us. We delete the enquiry six months after it has been dealt with, unless commercial retention periods apply. If you write to us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. processes the message content and your telephone number under its own privacy policy; we have no influence over that and you are free to use the telephone or email instead.
7. Map
The map on our contact section is not loaded until you click it. Only then is a request sent to OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom, which necessarily transmits your IP address. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, your consent given by clicking. Until then the site shows a static image stored on our own server.
8. Fonts
The typefaces Viga and Karla are served from our own server. No connection to Google Fonts is made and no data is transmitted to Google when you visit this site.
9. Your rights
You have the right to information about the data we hold on you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Where processing is based on your consent you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. Write to hallo@studiozwoelf.de. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority; the one responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf.
10. Changes
We update this policy when the site or the way we work changes. The version published here always applies.
